2. Cookies & tracking
We don't use marketing, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. There is no cookie banner because we don't need one — no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no LinkedIn insight, no Hotjar.
What we do use:
- Plausible Analytics (cookieless web analytics, EU-hosted, fully anonymised through aggregation). Plausible doesn't set cookies, doesn't persistently store IP addresses, and doesn't enable person-level tracking. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest in privacy-preserving reach measurement).
- Technically necessary browser storage for your language and theme
preference (DE/EN, light/dark). These values live in your browser's
localStorage, are never sent to our server, and don't require consent under GDPR (Art. 6 (1) f).
When you use the contact form, we transmit your input encrypted (HTTPS) to our email provider Resend (USA, EU standard contractual clauses) and to our inbox. See the „Contact form" section below for details.
3. Server logs
When you visit this site our hosting provider collects server logs including browser type, truncated IP address and timestamp. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Retention: max. 14 days.
4. Contact form
When you contact us through the form we store your details (name, company, email, phone, message) to process your request. The form data is dispatched via our processor Resend (Resend, Inc., USA — with EU standard contractual clauses). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. Retention: until your request is closed, max. 12 months.
5. Data processors
We have data processing agreements (DPAs) with the following providers:
- Cloudflare Inc. / Cloudflare Pages (EU region) — hosting & CDN
- Sanity.io (EU region fra1) — CMS
- Resend, Inc. — transactional email
- Plausible Analytics EU — privacy-friendly analytics
6. Your rights
You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Please direct requests to kontakt@ventureyoungs.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
