Discovery workshop with sales and warehouse, one architecture sketch, a pilot with ten regular customers — then gradual roll-out.

Tech choices

  • Next.js for the customer portal (app logic needed)
  • Supabase for auth, database, real-time stock
  • Stripe Billing for customer-specific terms
  • API to the inventory system instead of full integration

What we learned

That no mid-market company wants a platform. They want a tool that solves a concrete problem — and grows with them. That’s akkubooster today: a tool that scaled cleanly out of its first use case.
